George Huang (Founder, Creative Director)
Three decades before #MeToo and #TimesUp, director George Huang addressed workplace abuse in Swimming with Sharks (Kevin Spacey) that sparked a crucial societal dialogue and was widely seen as a turning point in a societal shift. Huang’s prolific body of work includes serving as writer, producer, and/or director on Final Recipe (Micelle Yeoh) Spy Kids 3, Spy Kids 4 (Antonio Banderas, Jessica Alba), SWAT (Samuel Jackson, Colin Farrell), Machete, Predator, Trojan Wars (Jennifer Love Hewitt). He is an ongoing collaborator with Robert Rodriguez and Luc Besson, with who he co-wrote and directed Weekend in Taipei, (Luke Evans, Gwei Lun Mei, Sung Kang), the upcoming Weekend sequels, and the upcoming Anna (Luke Evans, Sasha Luss) streaming series. Prior to his directing career, Mr. Huang served in various studio executive roles, from assistant to financial analyst to development executive at Columbia Tri-Star, Paramount, Universal Studios, Warner Brothers, Disney, and Lucas Films. He is graduate of Berkeley (BA), University of Southern California (MFA, Film), and is a tenured professor at UCLA Film School.
Welly Yang (Founder, Creative Producer)
25 years before Crazy Rich Asians, Yang founded the AAPI theater company Second Generation, and later the Asian Excellence Awards in Hollywood, both which helped pave the way for recognition of Asian talent globally. He co-wrote the musicals Making Tracks, and the musical adaptation of Ang Lee's Oscar-nominated film, The Wedding Banquet. The former highlighted the contributions of Asian Americans in shaping the foundation of America and the latter celebrated love and family in all of its non-traditional forms. Yang is an acclaimed Broadway performer himself, starring in the original production of Miss Saigon, then various roles on US Television, solo concerts with Taiwan’s major symphonies, and in musicals in over 15 countries. A love of architecture and design led Yang to found a design/investment firm in LA specializing in high end architecture, where he designed over 20 homes, 7 of his which were selected by the Los Angeles Times as “Hot Homes.” Yang is a former board member of Amerasia Bank, a graduate of Columbia University (BA, Political Science), an Advisor to Hua Musicals, and a proud Taiwanese American.
Production Supervisor
Ya-Ting Chang (Production Supervisor)- Been working in film industry since 2005. Yating is experienced in extensive aspects in the industry. She line-produced some of the biggest budget movies in Taiwan such as- GF*BF (2011), Zone Pro Site- The Moveable Feast (2012), Paradise in Service (2013), The Village of No Return (2016). As well as international movies- The Spy Gone North (Korean 2017), Silence (2016 with Martin Scorsese). Starting 2017, she’s been working with Netflix to create the best original content in Taiwan, including Light The Night (2021), Shards of Her (2022), At The Moment (2023). Other than being the 1st go-to producer for Taiwanese production service, she also served as a lecturer in 2023 TAICCA Busan Story Market Workshop and 2022 Golden horse FPP Pitching Workshop, and a Jury in some of the most important screenplay contest and short film contest in Taiwan. On the education side, Yating has an MA in Film & TV Production, University of Bristol, U.K. and a BA in Media & Communications, Goldsmiths College, University of London, U.K.

Producer, Ex-Head Amazon Original Movies
Ted’s films have received 25 Oscar nominations, with 6 wins. He is one of two producers to have three of their films win the Sundance Grand Jury Award. He founded Good Machine where he produced the first films of Ang Lee, Hal Hartley, Michel Gondry, Nicole Holofcener, and many others. Need we mention Ted launched Amazon’s foray into feature film production, co-running it for much of his tenure, leading them to 19 Oscar nominations and 5 wins.
Yi-Chiou Chen
Producer, Ex-Cultural Minister & Ex-Chairwoman of Taiwan Broadcasting System (TBS)
Yi-Chiou Chen is an avid promoter of Taiwan art and culture. Ms. Tchen is a member of the French Legion of Honour, holding 2 titles as a Chavalier and 1 as an Officeier. She is the current Chairwoman of the Taiwan Public Television Service Foundation. She served as the Taiwan Cultural Minister, Chairwoman of the Taiwan National Concert Hall, and the Dean of the Taiwan National Normal University, among other important posts.
Teddy Zee
Ex-EVP Columbia Tristar, Paramount
With a long and successful track record as a film executive and producer (EVP Columbia, SVP Paramount) he has developed or produced films earning over $2.6 billion including: Pursuit of Happyness, Cable Guy, Charlie’s Angels, Hitch, Indecent Proposal, My Girl. Zee is a member of the Oscars, Emmys, and Producers Guild. He earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated from Cornell University.
Steve Chen
Founder, Youtube
Steve Chen is best known as the co-founder of YouTube, a site which has had a profound impact on the way we communicate, learn and connect. He was one of PayPal’s first employees, before becoming one of Facebook’s early employees. Having participated in the rise of two internet giants, Chen founded one himself just a few months after joining Facebook, and the rest is history. Recently, in 2019, Chen won an Emmy award for lifetime achievement. Chen lives in Taiwan, where he is focusing on developing the Taiwanese start-up ecosystem.
